Playground
We are so lucky to have the Annex Playground right outside our door. Each day (weather permitting) the children have 20- 30 minutes of unstructured play time outside. The playground has a large climbing structure, slides, swings, a seesaw, a spinning structure, a whale structure and lots of space to run. If the weather is not suitable for outside, we have access to a large gymnasium. In the gymnasium, we set up an obstacle course or play games such as duck, duck, goose or red light/green light. We also give the children time for their own gross motor interest by providing open ended gross motor toys such a streamers, parachute and hula hoops.
